| Chapter 1 | Awards |
| Article 1 | World Green Design Contribution Award is founded by World Green Design Forum to award individuals and institutions that have made outstanding contributions to the environment protection by applying green design to promote the wide adoption of green technology, green materials, green energy and green appliances, etc. |
| Article 2 | World Green Design Contribution Award sets two categories of Award: one for the individual and one for institutions (commercial or non-commercial). |
| Article 3 | All prizes are not charging any entry fee |
| Chapter 2 | Nomination |
| Article 4 | The founder shall invite an international panel of experts in relevant field to form a nomination committee that nominates candidates for the Award |
| Article 5 | The Award does not accept self nomination. It shall solicit public opinion through internet media for the nominees. |
| Article 6 | The nominees for Individual Award shall satisfy, but not limited to, the following criteria: |
| 1.S/he has made outstanding contribution for eco-protection. | |
| 2.S/he has an active and positive track record in supporting social and public good | |
| 3.S/he is a opinion leader in his/her business sector. | |
| 4.S/he has no record of words or deeds against eco-protection | |
| Article 7 | The nominees for Institutional Award shall satisfy, but not limited to, the following criteria: |
| 1.It has made outstanding contribution for eco-protection. | |
| 2.It has an active and positive track record in supporting social and public good | |
| 3.It is a market leader in its business sector. | |
| 4.It has no record of words or deeds against eco-protection. | |
| Chapter 3 | Voting Committee |
| Article 8 | The Voting Committee shall consists of a panel of internationally recognized experts in design, environmental protection, public affair, finance, and media from across the global invited by the Founder only |
| Chapter 4 | Publication and Voting |
| Article 9 | Nominees will be announced to the public when voting period begins. The profile of the nominees will be published on Green Design International Forum official website. During the voting period, nominees may update their public profiles on the websites. |
| Article 10 | The Award winners shall be selected via anonymous ballot by the voting committee. |
| Chapter 5 | Commendation |
| Article 11 | Nominees will get nomination awards of Green Design International Contribution Award. |
| Article 12 | The number of Award winners shall not exceed one third of the number of nominees. |
| Article 13 | The annual Green Design International Contribution Award winners will be announced at the Green Design International Forum. |
| Chapter 6 | Revocation |
| Article 14 | The founder shall be open to public complaints. It retains the right to revoke Award winners their awardee status publically should any award winner have been found out with words or deeds that is inconsistent or against eco-environmental protection |
| Article 15 | Interpretation of the rules of the Award shall reside only with the Founder. |
